The day will begin with a romantic traditional hand fasting wedding ceremony where the bride and grooms hands are symbolically bound together as they say their vows (this is where the term - To Tie the Knot - originated). Then the party begins as the wedding party is led back along a forest path by traditional Irish musicians to - The Kitchen - where your wedding Hooley begins.  The Wedding Planner has a selection of great Irish venues that offer us their 'Kitchen'  for our traditional Irish Weddings. However these are no ordinary kitchens! Your guests will enjoy comfortable seating in beautiful surroundings while enjoying the best of  Irish food, music and entertainment. We have a choice of great venues around the country.

When everyone is exhausted from dancing they can retire to their accommodation.  Our traditional Irish weddings are available at 4 star hotels, castles and manor houses as well as private estates. One such venue also offers a traditional Irish thatched cottage for the wedding night where the groom can carry his bride over the threshold of the traditional half door entrance!
