TERMS AND CONDITIONS FOR TOP 50 FINALISTS OF THE ULTIMATE JOB IN THE WORLD

ELIGIBILITY

Contest is open to residents of any country who have reached the age of majority in their country of residence as of March 1, 2010 at 1:00 AM EST. Employees and their parents, siblings and children, and persons domiciled with an employee of any of the Contest Sponsors are not eligible to enter or win: Runaway Bride and Groom, The Irish Times, Zara’s Planet Ltd, Practise PR and their affiliates, subsidiaries, advertisers, sponsors, advertising, and promotion agencies, referred to as the “Contest Sponsors”.

THE TERMS FOR SHORTLISTED TOP TEN COUPLES

If you are shortlisted as one of the top ten couples you must both be in a position to travel to Dublin, Ireland (or other location to be determined) on the 22nd April 2010 for the final gala dinner, tests and announcement of the winner. Shortlisted couples are responsible for all costs and travel arrangements to Dublin for the final selection including, without limitation, applicable taxes, fuel/currency surcharges, airport transfer transportation fees, accommodation meals and alcoholic beverages, other than described herein, room service, gratuities, merchandise, telephone calls, medical and travel insurance together with any required travel documentation, and all personal expenses of any kind or nature, together with any applicable overnight layover. It is the sole responsibility of the shortlisted couple to obtain all necessary travel documentation including passports and visas, as applicable and to comply with any customs and immigration requirements. Shortlisters must be able to travel at the times and dates as determined by the Contest Sponsors in their sole discretion and authority failing which the shortlisters will lose their place in the shortlist and new shortlisters will be chosen. Runaway Bride and Groom will provide a gala dinner and overnight Bed and Breakfast in a hotel following the gala dinner for the 10 finalists.

HOW TO BE SHORTLISTED TO THE TOP TEN

VIDEO ENTRIES

One (1) video will be chosen by popular public vote that will take place from 9AM GMT 10th April until midnight GMT 17th April 2010. The video with the most votes on our website wins a place in the shortlisted 10 automatically. Of the selected eligible entries a panel of judges at their discretion will select the other nine (9) Semi-Finalists.

HOW TO WIN

The winning couple will be chosen in Dublin, Ireland (or other location TBD) to be attended by the top 10 shortlisters on the 22nd April 2010. On the same day prior to the gala dinner a set of tests will be given to the shortlisters and the judges will at their discretion determine the winners. If couples cannot attend the gala dinner in person they may pre-arrange with the company to attend the tests via video conference.

The winner must be free to sign the contract for the Ultimate Job and commence working from the 21st May 2010 and complete the contract on the 21st November 2010. The winner must have full consent that their partner will travel with them on a voluntary basis and adhere to the terms and conditions of the contract. Should the winner be unable to sign the contract or unable to fulfil the terms then the judges reserve the right to offer the contract to a secondary winner selected from the top 10 (ten) shortlisters. Terms are detailed in the winner’s contract but some key points are:

Winner must be free to work full time on the contract from 21 May to 21 Nov 2010 without any other working responsibilities
Winner must have consent of their partner to travel with them on a voluntary basis
Winner must register as a sole trader or equivalent and invoice Runawaybrideandgroom for remuneration as per contract terms. Winner will invoice RBG €1,500 per month and €12,500 in month 6 upon completion of the contract.
Winner must have valid passport and if visas are required for entry he/she must pre-arrange these.
Winner must organise own travel insurance and seek advise from physician on inoculations for countries to be visited.
Runawaybrideandgroom will cover flights, foreign country transfers, accommodation and full board and in some cases some activities etc. However incidentals, phones, laundry, bar bills etc will not be covered and are responsibility of the winner.
Winner must deliver on blogs, written material and video blogging as per contract stipulates.
Winner agrees to all PR activities Runawaybrideandgroom may request including being available for radio interviews, photo shoots, TV interviews, gala dinners and speaking at industry functions throughout the duration of the contract.
Winner will spend normally 3 weeks of each month travelling and then 1 week will be home based to complete editorial, admin and attend any press interviews required. Winner must have access to computer and good internet speed when home based.
Current honeymoon travel destinations selected for the winner include: Mauritius, Zanzibar, Kenya, Seychelles, USA, Hawaii, Ireland, Thailand, Jordan, Ireland but contest sponsors reserve the right to substitute any of these destinations in whole or in part for different destinations.

YOUR VIDEO

Each entrant agrees to and must obtain all rights and permissions and secure a written and signed release from all persons featured or mentioned in his or her Video prior to submitting the Video in this Contest and provide them to Sponsor upon its request. Sponsor may, in its sole discretion, require an entrant to complete, sign, and return or have those people featured, mentioned, or depicted in the Video complete, sign, and return additional releases and other forms in the form provided by Sponsor within the time frame specified by Sponsor or the entrant may be disqualified. By submitting a Video, each entrant agrees to comply with any of Sponsor's requests for such further permissions, documentation, and signatures.

Each entrant agrees that his/her participation in the Contest and agreement to these Rules and any Contest Sponsor's display and use of his or her Video will not violate any agreement to which participant or any other person featured or mentioned in the Video is a signatory or party.

Each entrant agrees to indemnify the Contest Sponsors against any and all claims from any third party for any use or reuse by any Contest Sponsors of the Video.

By entering the Contest each entrant:

(i) grants to the Sponsor, it sublicensees, agents, representatives and assigns in perpetuity, the irrevocable, sublicensable, non-exclusive, absolute license, right and permission to publish, display, reproduce, modify, edit, translate, combine with other material, adapt, exploit or otherwise use the Video in whole or in part in any and all media (whether now existing or hereafter devised), including, without limitation, on the Website, throughout the world in any manner and/or for advertising or promoting the Contest or for any other reason without further review, notice, approval, consideration, or compensation;
(ii) waives all “moral rights”, “droit moral” or unfair competition with respect to use of his/her Video in favour of the Sponsor; and
(iii) waives, agrees to release and hold harmless the Contest Sponsors and each of their respective agents, employees, directors, successors, and assigns (collectively, the “Released Parties”) from and against any and all claims that entrant may now or hereafter have in any jurisdiction based on such rights or based on publicity rights, defamation, invasion of privacy, copyright infringement, trade-mark infringement or any other intellectual property related cause of action. For greater certainty, the Sponsor and/or the contest administrators reserve the right, in their sole discretion, to modify, edit or remove any Video, or to request an entrant to modify or edit his or her Video, if a complaint is received with respect to the Video, or for any other reason. Each entrant agrees to immediately supply original video and source files upon request of Flight Centre. Each entrant agrees that the licensed entities may, but are not required to, attribute an Video to an entrant. Each entrant agrees not to instigate, support, maintain, or authorize any action, claim, or lawsuit against the Released Parties on the grounds that any use of any entry, Video or any derivative works, infringe or violate any of entrant's rights therein. Each entrant acknowledges and agrees that nothing in these Rules will require a Contest Sponsor to use an Video in part or in whole or to include an Video in any Contest Sponsor-related property, including, without limitation, the Web Site. Each entrant hereby acknowledges and agrees that the relationship between the entrant and any of the Contest Sponsors is not a confidential, fiduciary, or other special relationship including form of employment, and that the entrant's decision to submit his/her Video for purposes of the Contest does not place any of the Contest Sponsors in a position that is any different from the position held by members of the general public with regard to elements of the Video, other than as set forth expressly in these Rules.

ACKNOWLEDGMENT OF TERMS AND CONDITIONS

Entrants agree to abide by these Official Rules and by the decisions of Runaway Bride and Groom whose decisions are final. Failure to comply with these rules may result in disqualification from these promotions.

Run Away Bride and Groom reserves the right to permanently disqualify any person it believes has intentionally violated these rules. By entering, each participant agrees to be bound by these Official Rules and Regulations and the decisions of the Contest Sponsors, which shall be final. By participating in any Runaway Bride and Groom travel, each participant agrees to release and hold the Contest Sponsors and their employees, officers, directors, agents, representatives of the Contest Sponsors, their advertising, promotion, and fulfilment agencies, and legal advisors, harmless from any and all losses, damages, rights, claims and actions of any kind in connection with the giveaways; or resulting from acceptance, possession, or use of any prize, including without limitation, personal injury, death, and property damage, and claims based on publicity rights, defamation, or invasion of privacy. Before being declared a Winner, the selected entrant will be required to sign a declaration/release form agreeing to the terms of this paragraph and to the use by Runaway Bride and Groom, Zara’s Planet Ltd. nor its sponsors, advertisers, agents, or representatives, are responsible for telephone, network, electronic or computer failures of any kind, or for entries that are stolen, misdirected, incomplete, garbled, delayed by computer transmissions, lost, late, damaged, ineligible or postage due; or for any printing or typographical errors in any materials associated with the giveaway. Runaway Bride and Groom reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to suspend or cancel any trips at any time. All entries become the property of the Contest Sponsors and will not be acknowledged or returned. Any trademarks or copyrighted material used in this promotion are the property of the respective owners and are used herein for identification purposes only.

By accepting a place in the top 50, the selected few agrees to the Contest Sponsors use of their name(s) and /or photograph for advertising and publicity purposes without compensation. The Contest Sponsors reserve the right to cancel or modify the contest if fraud or technical failures compromise the integrity of the contest as determined by the Contest Sponsors in their sole discretion.

The Contest Sponsors are not responsible for any lost, late, stolen, illegible, incomplete, mutilated, misdirected or postage due rule requests any associated information as a result of claim/s. Proof of identification and eligibility will be required before signing a final contract. This includes name, address, and birth date.

The Contest Sponsors will not be held responsible for telephone, technical, network, online, electronic, computer hardware or software failures of any kind, misdirected, stolen, incomplete, garbled or delayed Internet/e-mail computer transmissions on account of technical problems or traffic congestion on the Internet or on the website, or any combination thereof, including any injury or damage to participant's or any other person's computer relating to or resulting from participation or downloading any materials in this Contest.

The determination of winner will be final and no correspondence will be entered into. The Winner must sign the contract, within 7 BUSINESS days from the date of the notification attempt, after this it will be assumed to be invalid and a new Winner will be selected.

Winners assume all liability for any damages caused or claimed to be caused by participation or by any prize, and release Runaway Bride and Groom, Zara’s Planet Ltd and all its sponsors from any such liability. Acceptance of a prize constitutes permission to use Winner's name, city and Country (e.g. Peter Mac, Barcelona, Spain) for purposes of advertising, promotion and publicity without additional compensation. Runaway Bride and Groom guarantee that the personal details, including email address, of entrants will not be publicized, rented or sold - unless express permission has been given by the entrant.

GOVERNING LAW/DISPUTES

In the event of any discrepancy or inconsistency between the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules and disclosures or other statements contained in any Contest related materials, including but not limited to the Contest entry form, or point of sale, radio, print or online advertising, the terms and conditions of the Contest Rules shall prevail, govern and control.

All issues and questions concerning the construction, validity, interpretation and enforceability of these Rules and/or the rights and obligations of Entrants' in connection with the Contest will be governed by and construed in accordance with the internal laws of the Republic of Ireland, without giving effect to any choice of law or conflict of law rules or provisions that would cause the application of any other country.

The Sponsor reserves the right to cancel, modify or suspend this Contest, or to amend these Rules without prior notice or obligation in the event of any accident, printing, administrative, or other error or any kind.
